Dear Mastodon Forum: I never thought I'd be writing to you, but the other day:
Our evil stepmother-in-law invited us out for a steak dinner. She insisted it was to be her treat. When the check came, she offered up a purse full of old gift cards, all of which came to $11 worth of credit. We paid the ~$130 balance.
She didn't even act surprised about this turn of events.
Neither did we.
I was learning to drive HGVs so I could drive generators and lighting trucks.
The instructor said to me: “you have to treat the mirrors like women. If you only look at one of them, you get a slap”

It's Sunday #TrueStories time. Today, I'll share 2 short true stories of how I KOed myself & fell to the ground/floor (no serious injuries, don't fret).
First one(in somewhat recent years):
A self KO happened about 8 years ago. I was waiting for my ride on sidewalk, after a legal meeting. A raven flew over. Then perched atop a tree about 10 feet from me. I started walking closer to get a photo. I have issues with getting too passionate about getting photos that I forget to pay attention to what's in front of me. I walked fast. Straight into a hydro pole, face first & KOed myself onto the small patch of grass by sidewalk. The raven cawed & then pooped 2 feet from my faceplant on sidewalk. I look across the road & there's a bunch of people at bus stop. They witnessed it all. I shout across the road - I really need a safety helmet! Then, we all laughed😆
Telling my friend about a horse who loves big breasted women so much that I used to have to warn every single big breasted friend to zip up their jackets or wear shirts with zero cleavage showing to avoid a weirdo horse who would stampede across a huge field - just to motorboat a big breasted woman. Some big breasted friends of mine didn't take me seriously & they got motorboated by the horse.
