Have any US channels or networks considered getting actors to re-enact scenes from the Trump trial using daily transcripts?
Seems like the #vinb Tribunals formula would be a gift to something like the Daily Show.
Love this (& loved #IrishTwitter. The #VinB hashtag really did bring so many of us together & the majority of us remain friends to this day). #MastoDaoine

@allancavanagh @Lamhfada @IzzyKamikaze @whatatoots @damienmulley Also there was always the chance #VinB might just savage a guest on camera.
@allancavanagh @Lamhfada @IzzyKamikaze @whatatoots @damienmulley The difficulty arises when it comes to picking the focus for common comment. #VinB had the advantage of being on after everything else in life (children, work, meals etc) was done, of being there every night, so the discussion and community was too and being on a broad range of topics at at febrile political time. (The Govt collapsed the economy)
@allancavanagh @Lamhfada @IzzyKamikaze @whatatoots @damienmulley The #vinb days were a sort of happy accident building out of a kind of community already working with agreed rules of moderation and engagement from the ScribbleLive blogs, but they are an interesting idea for here, where hashtags are key to discovering and seeing each other again.
@Lamhfada @IzzyKamikaze @whatatoots #VinB was a tentpole alright (thanks @Tupp_ed !) and then there were events like the synchronised Princess Bride live-tweet (#AsYouWish thanks @damienmulley !) that built connections too.
@IzzyKamikaze @whatatoots I think early Irish twitter was based around following hashtags like #Vinb to discuss the show and politics - I don't think there's a current affairs show like that to pull together large groups of people for #Mastodaoine - or if there is I'm not aware or watching it these days.
@faduda @clickhere @allancavanagh @stringer get as many here as possible for Eurovision. And we’ll get @Tupp_ed the creator of Irish TV Twitter and #vinb
Cor this is like the olden days of Twitter. Crystal Swing! Horse Outside! #VinB!
They should bring back Vincent Browne for a couple of weeks so that all the Irish people can find each other on here the old fashioned way, trying to do the best joke on #VinB
@Lamhfada Ah, the #VinB days! #IrishTwitter’s heyday.
*wakes up for another wonderful morning in a much nicer new social media home*
Lads could ye imagine what Vincent Browne would call this place if the #vinb days were now? This is no tweet machine maybe a toot factory?
Liking the vibes here, reminds me of Irish twitter circa 2009 where we'd all be talking about #Vinb and the like.
I'm getting a vibe from #IrishTwitter of the early days of the late-night #vinb crew. Old school. Magic memories.
