@JohnTwelvetrees The #LabourParty will not co-operate with stand-down pacts. It's in their constitution to stand a candidate at every UK election (besides Northern Ireland, and the affiliated Co-op Party in GB).
So, any co-operation from them could only ever be in the form of pushing dead ducks to be candidates - and not funding a local campaign.
And, even then, some will still vote for a block of lard wearing a red rosette.

Those who believe that Keir Starmer is playing "a long game" over rejoining The EU Single Market and The EU Customs Union, would do well to note that he's been saying much the same since first being elected leader of The #LabourParty.
