#Genuary16: Generative palette. This plot was made using walnut ink! Using an organic ink that shifted colours during plotting is definitely what I would call a generative palette. Made during my art residency at @bantamtools! It's special, it's big at 36" x 24", and it's also a 1-of-1 that was made on an unreleased, prototype machine. Grab it while you can!

An #ArtNouveau inspired bit of #lettering with a quote by Theodore Roethke. Postcard-size, done in #gouache, homemade #WalnutInk, and a self-indulgent amount of #ShellGold.

A stylized wisteria with the quote “deep in the roots all flowers keep the light” tucked among its sinuous branches. Purple flowers sprout from the letters. The word “light” is in a dark space beneath the vine where its roots would be and is painted gold.
