@oscherler AFAIK the shutdown will prevent you from buying new #Games & #DLC.
- Officially it should still allow you to re-download already purchased content those but I'd not count on that, nor the ability to play on #XboxLive beyond said day...
At the very least ALL Items will be #delisted from the #Xbox360's digital store.
So ideally you'd login on an unmodified console (you want to mod!) first, download everything from said digital store and after that, #mod it to retain access to said content.
- Whilst you can't upgrade the internal storage before modding (at least not at a price point that would make sense due to the overpriced HDDs!) you can basically attach up to 125 (!) USB HDDs / SSDs with up to 2TiB capacity each (using USB Hubs) tho you'll be bottlenecked to it's USB 2.0 controller which is slower than the internal SATA bus used for the HDDs.
Once modded you'll then be able to backup said games woth the integrated functionality of an aftermarket "dashboard" like #AuroraDashboard and it's scripts...
- The only game that I'm aware of that won't run as a digitally ripped version is #Titanfall because it needs both the optical drive and internal HDD just to be able to transfer data fast enough for it to be playable, making it AFAICT the only game that is technically "physical-only" per design. But considering it's a multiplayer-only game like the 360 Port of #BlapckOps3 it'll be unplayable once #XBL 2.x is being shut down and until someone reverse-engineered a Server...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WFIt8rckp7Q
