@akgood "After years of inaction", I'll believe it when I see the plans and the budget approval. There were promises in previous years as well, dating back to 2017.

The #FOIA request is 2987 at https://www.a2gov.org/departments/city-clerk/Pages/FOIA-Requests.aspx - maybe too much of a coincidence that the FOIA went on in 2024-10-08 and the MLive story appears on 2024-10-10.

The headline writer mischaracterized notifications of non-compliance with federal ADA law as "complaints", but that would be MLive for you.

FOIA 1740 arrived from :city_ann_arbor: including a writeup from the Fire Dept of the 2022-12-24 fire at the parking lot of Venue, and photos of the burned-out RV from the non-profit tree seller using their lot.

Very nasty/scary.

I had to ask again to get the photos, but the whole process was prompt and cordial. Will share after I read through everything.
