Congratulations to Nenshi for winning the Alberta NDP leadership race.

As a life long member of the NDP, I'm concerned with a potential party takeover. I can't help but notice that Nenshi won by approximately the number of new members to the party.

I heard him at the Polish Hall discuss bringing in private voices into the conversation of healthcare and am gravely concerned.

I went down to the Leadership Showcase in Wetaskiwin last night to see what the candidates had to say about earning the rural vote.

I was thrilled to see so many New Democrats out in what I knew as the "Drill Hall" in my time, where I played Remembrance Day ceremonies, bomb scares, and had my high school graduation.

Separating from the federal party doesn't solve anything but in fact weakens the party.

How does Alberta influence the federal party? Elect more NDP MPs. Show up at Conventions. Participate in federal Constituency Associations.

If you want to effect change you have to show up.

This long-term NDP member says the math says that Albertans aren't quitters.

We are stronger together.
