"Knock it Back!"

A second picture from the food festival in Alcester yesterday.

I'm trying to catch the story of this lady tasting the gin, and the stall holder engaging with her and enthusiastically talking to her about the drink.

The exposure between the customer and seller was quite different. In post processing I've had to lighten the dark interior of the stand vs the bright outdoor light the customer is stood in.

A woman stood at the counter of a gin stand. She is knocking back a drink. It's not visible, but the context of standing at the gin stand suggests it's a sample of the bottles being sold. On the counter are bottles of gin and rum on display. The other side of the counter a girl is enthusiastically talking, presumably about the gin she is selling. She is holding her hand up as if to knock back a shot of the drink. She is smiling, maybe laughing as she talks.

"Sharing Loaded Fries"

I've been on an outing with my local camera club today to Alcester Food Festival.

I'm not that experienced at street photography. Here I'm trying to capture the story of the woman sharing the loaded fries they have just bought with the boy. I'm trying to create layers. The main subjects in the foreground. The crowd in the middle and the loaded fries stand behind.

The woman in the middle is sharing food on her fork with the boy to her right. Crowds of people are walking in the street. On the other side of the street is a food stand with a sign reading "Loaded Fries". Perhaps the woman is sharing loaded fries with her sons.
