En 2023, j’ai obtenu une bourse du Canton de Genève pour mon premier album jeunesse coélaboré avec Louis Viladent 🤍, il est toujours en cours, il a traversé mon postpartum, il a été mis en pause... puis mon travail de commandes reprenant et bien quelques mandats lui ont roulé dessus. Enfin, si on considère qu’il n’a pas été enterré sous des montagnes de procrastination. Voilà il attendait patiemment que je lui consacre de nouveau un peu de temps. Un vrai cirque mental. Mais ça y est j’ai repris le dos’ depuis le début de l’année ! Merci Gwé Dudek et Laurent Bazart pour votre soutien 🤸‍♀️🤸
Et bien l’histoire de l’album aborde l’émancipation, la transformation et le détour heureux. De comment se perdre pour mieux se retrouver — ça me, vous parle ? Je me suis beaucoup inspirée de ma « maison » : des paysages ronds, des montagnes adoucies par le temps, de la verdure et des rivières capricieuses du Pays Basque.

Mon défi actuel : peaufiner le scénario, recabler certains aspects de la narration et dessiner, dessiner, dessiner avant de l’envoyer à des maisons d’édition que j'ai en tête. En attendant, je continuerai d’en parler ici et vous partager son évolution.
