At the doctors office for a physical and BasicMed sign off. For the flying I do, BasicMed will cover me and it’s so much easier not having to go to the local AME’s office. The only thing I’ll need to keep my medical for is the ceiling test on my RV-8, as I expect it to be somewhere around 21-22-23 thousand feet and under BasicMed we can only go to 18,000 if I remember correctly.

I’m confused. The certificate that comes with the course says you must keep it with your logbook and produce it when requested. Don’t you need to have your medical with you when you fly?
