Here is #BobTheDog in #FlatBob mode. He flattens himself out like this often enough that we just look at him and say “Flat Bob”

Dogs are both crazy tonight. Didn’t help that fireworks started 2 hours ago. Had to pull out the Thundershirt for #BobTheDog, even though he's almost too fat for it now.

The better news is that I made another loaf from scratch (not from a box) today, and it does taste better.

#BobTheDog decided he needed to be a lap dog tonite. He volunteered my husband to be the lap.

A middle-aged man (my husband) is sitting in a brown leather recliner. A black and white border collie mix dog is draped diagonally across his lap, which means he has to set his laptop on the left arm of the recliner.

#BobTheDog had his turn at the vet’s today. As usual, he was an absolute asshole in the car, setting off the LOUD NOISE ALERT on my Apple Watch. We managed to distract him w/peanut butter for the blood draw and the shot. We had been working on desensitizing him to the bordatella intranasal vaccine. But the presence if 3 vet techs or something blew that away. He doesn’t bite, but he dies freak out a bit. #exhausted

My Apple watch has started informing me that i’m n a Loud Environment when #BobTheDog is in the car. No shit, Watch. Bob is a NOTABLE (i.e., LOUD) barker, and in the car, he never. Stops. BARKING

#BobTheDog had a vacc appt today. And... the vet tech brought out treats! Easiest vet visit ever. I don't think he even realized he was getting shots.
