My first CDJ3000 hands on experience today taught me: if the CDJ is complaining about an unsupported format when trying to load a track that it should definitely be able to load, make sure the actual music file exists. We had a bunch of tracks in the playlists that turned out to be missing their music files.

Good thing we were allowed some practice time on the decks in advance, realizing this at the gig would've been a big oof.

Ah man, I’m getting the #cdj itch. But then I realised I could fly to New York and back 11 times for the same price as a pair.

I just used a #CDJ for the first time in my few years of #dj experience, and wow. That's not pleasant. It's like using a lazy susan to DJ. How anyone could prefer that to the feel of vinyl on a turntable is beyond me.
