Lights, camera aaaaand about 50 odd deleted operators as I tried to make this Zagreus themed output.
The goal was to have the spiky sphere be 'trapped' in the other sphere, much like Zagreus trying to escape the underworld. I added two ramps and a luma blur towards the end as a means to increase the glowing effect and add a dark pulse that was definitely on purpose and fits the vibe really well.
Anyway here's the code!

Switching things up with the previous code. I messed around with some settings and added sharpen to give it a more glitch-like effect
I'm uploading this purely no the basis of how stupid it is 😂
My eyes hurt and now so do yours! (I'll upload the videos in the replies so at least it's your choice)
I added a twist sop to the plum blossom section of my previous input, added a little bit of absTime in the Z rotation aaaand then used audio reaction on the switch- and on the line. Now you briefly see a pink plum blossom in time with the drums/kicks.
Anyway here's the code!

Week 11 input 1
This one was done in class, it started as a cute little wireframe plum blossom and turned into a rotating wireframe sphere
Anyway here's the code!
#codingexplorations
All the noise, all the ramps and my poor, cramping fingers resulted in this pretty, kind of trippy, not-what-I-had-in-mind-when-I-started-but-damn-it-looks-good input.
I was going for an 80's kind of vibe to match the synth music, and I would like to go to sleep now.
Right in the center, kind of subtle but definitely there, is my audio reactive pulse that is connected to the phase of "ramp2"s colour-thing...
Yes. Very technical, very smart.
Anyway, code is in the reply :))

Aaaaa I confused myself. Okay so Gwen Stacy and the waveform are technically week 10 (SOPs and Instancing), so I need 2 more for week 9 (Noise and Audio).
So here's another one! This is my reaction diffusion purple spiral from week 9 :))

Video in replies
Week 10 inputs time :)) here is my cutesy little bluebell sphere. Made by adding a picture into a phong -> into a geo -> and then rendering. I also added some noise to give the effect of sunlight/shadows moving around the sphere
#codingexplorations
Okay, so emotionally, there's a lot going on here. I took my original waveform code and added noise ops to create a background. I was inspired by Gwen Stacy from the Spiderverse movies and added her theme, then decided I wanted to adjust the colour scheme to fit. After some experiments (noise + geo was NOT my friend) I added a ramp before one of the noise ops to reduce the colour variation. (More details in the replies + the code)

I was EXTREMELY determined to have this file actually play the audio I wanted. I could get it to play on my laptop just fine, but getting it to record in the moviefileout was another matter (mfo just doesn't like me today??).
Anyway turns out I needed to connect the audiofilein to the audio CHOP (I was trying to connect an individual channel or the audiofileout??)
Anyway- BEHOLD!! My audio reactive waveform :))
(I'll add the code in the comments)
#codingexplorations
At first I connected the moviefileout to the null and was all confused when it came out greyscale. You goose, you're supposed to connect it to the pretty colourful one.
Anyway here's some noise loopy things!

When you get a new flatmate, you must make them question your mental stability at the first opportunity.
So naturally I decided to do my coding in the lounge and started howling like a maniac as I created THIS masterpiece. I used an LFO to adjust the pivot of the large hexagon and rotation of the hexagon times, as well as a feedback loop to reset the tiles whenever I pressed/held "r"
I have 2 versions! The zoomy version that made me cackle, and something a little more chill.

week 11 audio reactive patterns
#codingexplorations
I created a sound wave parameter using pattern CHOPs, an audiofile and a sphere SOP instancing through a Geo SOP.
I also experimenter with changing the speed parameter in the audiofilein.
WEEK 11
OUTPUT 3
#codingexplorations
Get our sphere SOP, press viewer active button then click W to see the lines, attach to TWIST and mess with the parameters to get that tornado look. create 2 circle sops PRESS W same thing with sphere play with the parameters connect to copy and pattern then for that galaxy look attack a noise between twist and switch then to geo, then to theTOP ops(render, transform, background) then attach a LINE (donut) to geo which will modify the shape, and end with NULL
Week 11: 3D networks using SOPs and Audio reactivity
I created a 3D mesh sphere and twisted the two ends of the sphere vertically. I used audio converted to frequency, and put the frequency into Twist SOP so that each twist would correspond to the audio beat frequency.

my final week 11 piece: a noise blob using polygon with the period turned down. Uses SOPs and I am so done with this. Thank you for this semester, Sabrina
#codingexplorations
Week 11: 3D networks using SOPs
I used 3D SOPs network to create a 3d mesh shape that moves from far to close like a blooming flower, with a radial gradient effect in the background, really catching my eyes.
#codingexplorations
Week 11: 3D networks using SOPs Audio reactivity
I created this colorful mesh shape with horizontal lines that move in response to the sound, using the Sphere SOP to generate a sphere with a mesh, the Twist SOP to make the shape twist along the horizontal axis, and the Noise SOP to animate the shape's movement. I added Audio and used math to convert the sound into data, connected to null, and put it into Twist SOP so that the shape twisted follows the rhythm of the audio.
#codingexplorations
Week 10: 3D networks using SOPs
I create a grid of moving 3D spheres using the Grid SOP and Sphere SOP to create 3D balls, and then use the Transform and Noise SOPs to help move the spheres. I use Instancing to help copy the sphere and manipulate it according to the initially created grid.

Week 8: Feedback Loops & Comp and Tile TOPs
Create a trail effect by a feedback loop
