The term for such ambiguity is #constructiveAmbiguity.
The only #constructiveAmbiguity on Fedi that we know of, is #adminDiscretion and we prefer that over dodgy algorithms or a trigger happy fool.

We just boosted how a UBI might work in such a way as to still encourage frugality, via #constructiveAmbiguity.
In #Australia about 100bn at the time of study went into the beaurocracy, if than went into simply giving people a subsistence wage it actually it shown to boost participation, people work more.
The reason why a reverseLottery for the #extremelyWealthy is needed, is because it introduces #uncertainty - or "Constructive Ambiguity".
If everything #tax related is 'set in stone' so to speak, the extremely wealthy will hire the best #taxLawyers to go up to the thresholds of what is "#legal".
By introducing a #SlidingScaleOfUncertainty, those #perverseIncentives start to go out the window.
It just won't be worth playing these myopic #taxAvoidance tricks.

Nice! When you say after a week, did you add some entropy to that. Ie. About a week. #constructiveAmbiguity

Corporate power loves certainty, #consistency and predictability. It allows them to go up the boundaries of govt regulation to exploit them to the fullest amount.
The same is true for #tax.
By tax day they have a 300 page novel of tax writeoffs delivered to govt, replete with as many #taxAvoiding mates and #CEOs as possible.
But is there a space for #entropy in #taxPolicy? What if on tax day, We the People (aka govt) rolled a dice⦠(1/2)
