Work in progress: roots complete, blooms started. #crewel #stitching

I need to pull upon the collective consciousness of the interwebs to locate a needlework pattern.

Here's what I know:

• My husband saw the kit in a San Francisco store about 10 years ago
• The store likely sold all sorts of needle kits, so this pattern could have been #needlepoint #crossstitch #crewel #embroidery or something else
• The pattern is described as a "hummingbird chasing the tail of a plane"
• Only the tail end of the plane was visible
• The plane in questions is a French Nieuport, possibly model 17, with red, white, and blue on the tail
• He's pretty sure the background was white or light colored
• And the hummingbird was larger than life in comparison to the plane

Internet searches are pulling up a lot of garbage, especially AI slop.

Hey, #knitting Mastodon where do you get your wool online (or in person in Minnesota, USA). My Spouse is starting #embroidery but with wool, so that's called #crewel . Looks like we need a 2 or 4 ply wool that is more smooth and less shaggy.

After a hearty New Years brunch and some good ol fashioned sitting around, I started working on my first piece of #yarnuary. I like the Sublime Stitching transfer pens but I couldn't get it to transfer better at the edges. I'm using watercolor pencils for some fills. I don't know how to use stabilizer with those.
Last year in my Pokémon experiments, I was able to get a nice watery look with the watercolor but I don't remember what I did...
