Continued #WeirdCoffeePerson fun - brewing the decaf we liked the least (EA/cane sugar process) as a v60. It took *forever* to draw down. Better flavour and body than the cupping brew, but still very mild and doesn't last long on the palate.
This is behaving like a very old coffee so TBH the main fault here might be me leaving this a couple of weeks past the official tasting. It does support the general wisdom that decaf ages faster.
Fun #WeirdCoffeePerson times today, doing the James Hoffman decaf project tasting. That's the same coffee - one normal/unprocessed, the others decaffeinated three different ways.
The different decaf processes did taste quite different to me; and while I didn't bother doing this as a blind tasting FWIW we both preferred Swiss Water method (nicer flavour and much more body).
