My girlfriend's mom swears she used to watch a show almost exactly like BBC's The Repair Shop 50 years ago.
With all my searching so far, I can't find anything that seems close enough.
Would anyone have any knowledge of repair style shows which featured people in a barn, working on various items to repair them?
