Had the Merlin bird ID app running on my phone while walking Fritzi & Lulu this morning. Somehow doubt herons frequent these parts, but who knows? I saw a pelican circling over Tucson a few years back, likely blown north from the Sea of Cortez, which actually isn't that far from here. #ornithologicalcuriosity #desertdachshunds #bigseiko
