Interested in archaeology and arboristry? James Madison’s Montpelier has the program for you! This week long program offers instruction in tree identification, archaeological excavation, and understanding historic landscapes. Program participants have the opportunity to learn alongside arborist Robert Myers, mycologist Harry Puffenburger, and Montpelier archaeologists within the Burial Ground of the Enslaved.
