In the kids last "adventure game" session they arrived at a seedy hostel and a rough-looking type was getting upset losing a dice game to some gnomes. Instead of a brawl, it became a Monster Rogers episode 🤣

One of the kiddos: "Hey, you shouldn't act like that. People won't want to play with you."

Berserker gets sheepish and they all convince the gnomes to teach him to play the game so he can play well and won't be so frustrated. I love these kids!

Today, after several months of adventuring, the kiddos completed their first quest: rescuing the phoenix egg from the greedy poachers! Oh, I wish I had captured the looks on their faces when they found the egg and everybody was thanking them for saving the local phoenix population. They were so excited!

In today's session the kids interrogated the poacher they captured, before they began the climb up the waterfall. Questions included:
"What's your favourite colour?"
"What's your favourite food?"
"What were you doing here?"
