D-AIHB, Airbus A340-642, Lufthansa, taxiing past the Runway Visitor Park on it's way to the terminal after landing on Runway 23 Right.
This was a medical diversion - Manchester sees a few Lufthansa flights come in every year because of medical problems, as it is pretty much the last major stop before hitting the Atlantic towards North America, or the first after the Atlantic.
We have one of the finest heart hospitals in the country just a few minutes away by road, and that has saved more than a few lives over the years.
