The #dialectics of #enlightenments - there will finally light!

This excerpt represents the 2nd part of my overall text on the "Dialectic of Enlightenment". This 2nd part is mainly about the media scientist Neil Postman and his thesis on the narratives of postmodernism, which also fold back into a dialectic of enlightenment.

The dialectics of the second enlightenment

And this is where Neil Postman comes into play with his book of the same name "The Second Enlightenment - From the 18th to the 21st Century", since "Enlightenment as mass fraud" is one of his main theses in said book. To explain this thesis as the dialectic of "the second Enlightenment" in postmodernism, he refers to the topic of "myths" and "grand narratives".

"...3 And God said: Let there be light! and there was light. 4 And God saw that the light was good. Then God separated the light from the darkness..." (Genesis 1)

The dialectics of enlightenment by Max Horkheimer and Theodor W. Adorno

This perversion of negation as "enlightenment of enlightenment" leads to the absurd situation described in the "dialectics of enlightenment". This work with the subtitle of the same name from the collection of essays by Max Horkheimer and Theodor W. Adorno, known as Philosophical Fragments, was published in 1944 and dates from the late "Book Age" (1450 - 1950). But since history repeats itself in some respects with modifications,...
