It seems like as the #EX30 gets used to our driving-patterns, the expected range is going up:

* When we first took delivery, it was showing 150mi expected-range at 80% charge
* With the most recent charge-up, it was showing nearly 180mi expected-range at 80% charge

Which is to say, it seems to have gone from an expected-range of 190 or so miles at 100% charge to about 220mi.

I don't drive nearly as demon-like in casual-driving as I do "I want to see what this car's evasive capabilities are" mode (when test-driving for a purchase)

The #Volvo #EX30 #EV #car has to have one of the dumbest #UX designs I have ever seen. When pressing buttons it helpfully reduces the music volume. Presumably to play some beep or something I don’t know. INCLUDING WHEN YOU ADJUST VOLUME!

Thus making it really difficult to actually adjust the volume to a suitable level. Sometimes it takes some time to bump the music volume back. WTH?!?

Honestly I sometimes think companies don’t even need to hire UX designers. Just bloody use your own product!

I got a new car at the end of February. It's a #Volvo #EX30 and the second #EV I've owned. I'm told they are popular in Europe, but I haven't yet seen another over here in the US. I've taken it on a road trip where I drove about 620 miles one way in a day; don't know why there are reviewers saying the EX30 isn't good for such a trip. The worst part was the car complaining my hands weren't on the wheel when driving on long straight stretches of highway, which got very annoying.

I went for a little Sunday morning drive along the river dike this morning, just for the hell of it but also to get some more miles under my belt to familiarize myself with my new car, and also to maybe find a nice spot to snap some photos. The weather was kinda crumby: overcast with light drizzle... But what better way to show off a Cloud Blue car than under a cloud blue sky?
