I want an #EV campervan option in the #usa but it seems like perhaps an #F150Lightning with a camper shell on the back may be the closest I'll get..... the #EU seems to have some great options with #flexis, #vw and #kia coming to market.

Its not even specific to Canada. Each province and region has its own electricity authority and policies.

The article is typical CBC midweek filler. This guy said this, the guy over there said that, the guy in Calgary says its impossible... No real investigative analysis.

This is a small thing, but I think it's pretty cool. This Buick #EV has tail light animations when charging. I was really hoping when I first saw it that the lights would fill up from the bottom as it got more charged. I was not disappointed.

This article is very specific to Canada. The economics are different elsewhere.

We paid just under £1000 to install an #EV #charger in January. It saves us money every time we use it, because we have a time-of-use tariff that costs just 7p/kWh overnight. If we used a #GrannyCable plugged into an outside socket, we'd pay almost four times that much. More than that, we can make sure the car is always charged when we need it, so we don't end up paying 90p/kWh (and wearing the battery prematurely, and having to wait around) at a commercial charger.

The charger should pay for itself after about 5MWh, which is about 18,000 miles, or about 30,000km.

Today in #EV charging adventures, went to a nearby site with 2 stations. Both looked operational. First one (of course) I tried was completely unknown to the charging app. No such device: "Invalid Charger ID." Second one came up on the app. Except unavailable. Status "Activating." Phone support: no answer (though they did call from a unrecognized/anonymous Toronto Canada number much later).
Drove away to find another spot.
