Yesterday we wrapped the final mix of the short film ROTENISSEN ("The Messy Gnome"), written and directed by Christian Lo (center). Here with sound designer Gunn Tove Grønsberg (right), foley artist Rune van Deurs (standing), and yours truly (left, in selfie mode). ROTENISSEN serves as an addition to the rather underpopulated genre of musical short films for children. Coming to a film festival somewhere near you in 2026, hopefully..!

Not only is this a lovely story charmingly animated--it's a masterclass in scoring! Kit Wilson's music is perfectly tailored to the film. Those with an ear for harmony will hear how the character of the chords beautifully captures the emotion at every point.
