Die Single "Building Fires" von Dan Penn, Johnny Christopher und Jim Dickinson entstand mit Soul-Keyboarder Spooner Oldham. Bei einem Auftritt im Palomino Club in L.A. standen überraschend 2500 Fans Schlange, obwohl die Band nur 50 erwartet hatte.

Well, as if this couldn’t have been predicted. Imagine a BA flight being delayed! So, BOS-LHR was delayed by 2 hours (or a bit more) and so doesn’t arrive at LHR for the connecting flight to MIL. Rebooked on a later flight and guess what? Delayed again! Who knew!? I can count on a subset of the fingers of one hand how many flights I’ve taken with BA this year that have not been delayed.

Almost missed this flight because BA neglected to update the board in the lounge. I only managed to get the flight by accident as I went for a walk outside the lounge and saw “flight closing” on the departures board. I suspect there’s going to be a few folks from the BA lounge who miss don’t make it …

So, let’s try that again. Yesterday’s trip was turned around over Italy when something went wrong with the plane that prevented us from landing in KSA. Fortunately, it didn’t prevent us landing in London. 🤷‍♂️
