I think it's really important to understand that blaming any part of what Israel is doing now on Hamas is spreading genocide apologism. In fact, I've come to feel that in the current environment, it's really necessary to think long and hard and do due diligence before saying anything about Hamas at all. Certainly there is nothing to be gained by engaging with questions like "Do you condemn Hamas?" My only answer to that is "Do you condemn Israel?" This deflection towards Hamas is the primary rhetorical method Israel uses to try to justify genocide when they're not just outright denying things they verifiably did/said.

I’d like to know who the anonymous coward running the @8124@mastodon.social account is.

That person is defending Israel’s genocide of the Palestinian people, slandering and attempting to silence voices that oppose it (and those trying to get aid to the Palestinian people), and generally apologising for and complicit in genocide all while maintaining their anonymity. If anyone should be losing their job, it’s that person, not Fabio.
