An extended TF sequence featuring Gabu, a white samoyed dog turning into a slime lizard called Newt.

Gabu, looking a little nervous: "Hey uhh, they said i was scheduled for some kind of procedure here? not sure wha-"
Doctor (off screen): "Oh yes come right in and we'll get started"
Gabu: "Oh, ok...?"

*whrrrCHUNK* -- Gabu gets a large feed tube jammed down its throat.

The tube quickly starts pumping Gabu full of pink slime, which starts changing its body inside and out. Gabu roughly tries to pull the tube out of its mouth, to no success.

But soon, Gabu starts to enjoy the slime, tilting its face up to let if flow in smoothly and taking big gulps.

Finally, the tube retracts. Gabu licks the top of its snout with its huge goopy pink tongue, thinking to itself... "more...? want more...". Its entire body is now a cyan lizard made of slime, with 4 pink eyes, a giant pink tongue filling the entirety of its mouth, and pink sawtooth fringes along its back and tail.

Doctor: "Ok, all done! Now lets get your collar fitted and your ID edited and you can be on your way, Newt!"
Gabu (thinking to itself): "n...newt?"

Gabu- no, Newt, gets a big metal translation collar snapped around its neck, its first words being the thoughts going around in its head:

Newt: "Huh? What? Huh? What??? Newt is a slime??? How- OH! Newt can talk now! Umm.. Newt think there some kind of mistake! Newt is Newt!! Wait-" (NO! BUT???)

Doctor: "Yes, yes, you're Newt! Enjoy your new life as a slime lizard!"

new friend just dropped and im immediately obsessed... its Newt!!

little backstory: it doesnt have lungs or need to breathe so it cant talk. instead it purrs and vibrates its slime at high frequency and the collar picks that up and translates it into a speech synthesizer so it can talk with other critters :3
