There used to be a restaurant chain called The Ground Round, and in addition to holding our chess club meetings there in the 90's, they used to have an Apple Crisp dessert which was delicious. I think I have faithfully recreated it at home, and that makes me very happy.

@wx1g My bartender friend has taken me to the new #GroundRound and we are sitting by the heating vent drinking warming drinks and this is ok.

The ER nurse came back for round 2. She’s throwing needle caps, surgical tape and examination gloves on the floor like we used to do with peanut shells at the Ground Round. I might be on Impractical Jokers.
