After a generally lousy weekend spent at a funeral on Long Island, nursing a stye on my eyelid, and watching my country wander recklessly into yet another war, I kind of expected last night's radio show to, well.... suck.

With the release of their 12th album, Bipolar Explorer continues their beautiful tradition of dream-pop songs and landscapes. "Memories of the Sky" was in part inspired by a Paris exhibition of the works of Louis Janmot, and the recurring imagery of protective angels. Frontman Michael Serafin-Wells, along with Vocalist /Keyboardist Sylvia Solanas visiting from France perform today on Irene Trudel's show. 12-3 PM.
