📱 Hace 14 años Apple lanzaba (¡por fin!) el iPhone 4 blanco tras 308 días de espera. Entre retrasos, Antennagate y cambios de ciclo... ese modelo marcó una era. Qué tiempos aquellos.

I will end this with a very blurry photo of the pizza man's greeter, who was always so happy and excited to greet people that he didn't stay still. :)

Eye level with a small, white dog that is blurred with motion, coming towards us, with face tilted to the right. We can see feet to the right, a wooden floor, and table legs and people legs to the left.

Inside.

An older man, wearing a green t-shirt, colourful apron and white chef's hat is holding a pizza paddle in his left hand and is putting down a measuring cup with his right. Behind him is a brick pizza oven and we can see a pizza inside.

Near the end of this folder. :)

Near our cottage, a fellow always had a dream of a pizza oven and making bread. So he made his dream happen. He made amazing focaccia.

Looking at a cute wooden building with a white screen door to the right and a white framed window to the left. In front of it, under the window, is a green bench. A sign between the door and window says "bakery."

Heehee, I could add a birds of mastodon hashtag, as there is a bird in this shot. A snowy owl. Can you see it? :)

A dreary image taken on a very cloudy day in snowfall. We are looking at a church, lengthwise, with its steeple to the right. The roof is covered with snow, the church is a concrete colour, with dark, vertical windows. Atop the roof peak we can see a grey blip. It is a snowy owl.

Please do a mute on "" if I'm posting too much. Just came across some iPhone photos and they make me happy to look through, so am probably posting too much.

A diner in Parrsboro, NS, at the edge of a harbour along the Bay of Fundy, looking out at a lighthouse that marks the entrance to the harbour. They are apparently well known for their freshly baked pies, but I'm not really a pie person. Their seafood chowder? All others are measured against this one.

Looking down on a plate that contains a bowl of seafood chowder, with a fresh roll and packaged crackers and butter, sitting on a diner paper placemat.

Fredericton beer, but pulled in a Moncton pub. :)

A vertical image of a draught glass of beer. The beer is dark with a white head. The glass reads Picaroons, traditional ales, Fredericton, NB.

Shoot the world around you, because as stable as you feel it might be, the world changes. MTV was a fixture in Toronto until it wasn't.

A photo taken as a passenger on a very cloudy day. We are stopped at a red light, though the blurred vehicles coming towards us suggest some drivers were running the yellow light. On the left hand corner, a big lit sign is mounted high up on the corner of the building, with a red "M" and smaller white "tv" incorporated in the M. Lower down, the corner also has a sign for Masonic Temple.

One rainy night.

Square image taken with a phone camera app, white border, with a dark vignetting. It's a rainy night, raindrops on the windshield, there is a car in front of us and a street car in from of it. The traffic light is green, but the image is mostly a red glow.

Cherry St bridge. This bridge lifts to allow shipping traffic through.

Square image taken with a phone photo app, with a white border and aged colour toning. We are on a two-lane road, about to go over a bridge. The bridge has a lot of metal work on top, part of allowing it raised when needed, to allow ships to pass through.

Under the Gardiner.

An image taken with a phone app, square, with white border, and aged toning. We are in the middle of 3 lanes, under an overpass, separated from oncoming traffic by a metal barrier. Light is coming from the right, creating shadows caused by the overpass and the cars ahead.

This was a truly amazing burrito place. It had very limited counter seating, was mostly takeout, and their spin was Chinese Mexican fusion. Anytime we headed into the city and passed Greenwood, we would stop in on our way back home. So good. Sadly, they didn't survive covid. They had been expanding to new locations before the pandemic hit, and, well...who could've planned for a pandemic. I thought the takeout part would've helped them, but, nope.

A square image taken with a photo app, with a white border and an aged colour toning. It's a restaurant store front with a huge white circle sign that says Chino Locos - tasty good burritos - in colourful test. To the upper left is an open sign, with colourful lights. Underneath, we can see some dark sombreros with the brims outlined with bright dots.

The Danforth, aka, Greektown.

A square image taken with a photo app, white border, aged colour toning. We are turning a corner of a busy street, the car behind us is very close, and a man is standing, facing right, waiting for a light to turn, with his child sitting up on his shoulders. The sign post says Pape Street, with the name underneath being written in Greek. It's a cloudy day.

A little rolling shutter... :)

We are stopped at a train crossing, the road is snowy, the image is processed with a white frame and green-cast colour tone. In front of use, we can see two via train cars, with Canadian flags painted on them, and the cars are slightly skewed to the right because of the motion.

A lot of history in this venue, some big acts have played here, notorious for Margaret Trudeau partying with the Stones. It went through some ownership changes, was almost shuttered, but was then bought out by a "Dragon" and was reopened. Haven't been to it in a very long time, but way back, it was the first place I went to a date on with my fellow in Toronto.

A square image taken with a cell phone and processed in a camera app. It has a white border and an aged tone. It was taken from a car as we pass by a music venue called El Mocombo. The doors are blue and are surrounded by murals of musicians and people dancing, with a vertical sign with lights hanging over the door.

@estevez :D Since iphone 3G I have supplied 4 people with phones. Myself, my wife, and both of my parents. The need to “fix" anything was zero in all these years.

This is my 2011 #apple #macbook Air being used to migrate some #iphone4 images to a new iPhone for my mother. Image is from June 2023. Just goes to say how well these devices can withstand the test of time.
