In local news, our Burger King in Reston shuttered without notice, along with the Herndon location. It was a sudden end that followed the slow decline of BK locations in Reston. There were 3 when we first arrived here. As I drilled down, I found their franchisee filed for bankruptcy this year. Seemed like it was over. However, their VA locations were sold to a first-time BK franchisee, so there’s hope the King (and #ImpossibleWhopper ) will return to Reston.
