I profoundly appreciated a Library Futures webinar presentation a week or so ago by Christina Albrecht-Crane about the interconnected components involved in most "AI" chatbot products.

So I'm super glad to realize that she's also made a series of blog posts explaining it further, including how to use a particular chatbot-less LLM to demonstrate what that type of tool does on its own.
