I have always had interest in technology and communication since I was young; I began dipping my toes into amateur radio several years ago when I got my license. I'm Ruaraidh and I'm from the Gaidhealtachd (Scotland's one :sloth_wink:, the Highlands of Scotland​)

I run this instance, badly, from my computer as well as a few extra bits like Writefreely, FreshRSS and SearxNG using Yunohost.

I have a few hobbies which include;

• Gardening - my garden is slowly becoming a mesh of wild and tamed
• Badminton - not particularly good although it's a great way to stay in shape1
• Videogames; racing games and first-person shooters on Xbox.
• Photography - Birds, landscapes and my garden plants

I am interested in

• Topics like rewilding but inclusive of people, no green-lairds please
• Rural displacement; its causes and effects.
• The similarites and differences of Gaels and indigenous/first nation peoples of the world.
• The Gàidhlig world
• Unfortunate things like linux and open-source android apps :spritz:​ :spritz:​
