Jeremy Pelt - Woven (2025)

"Woven" is trumpeter Jeremy Pelt's 25th album as a leader, blending post-bop traditions with contemporary electronic experimentation. Released on HighNote Records, the album features a reimagined lineup with vibraphone, guitar, and synthesizers, replacing Pelt’s usual piano accompaniment.

Guest artists include synth player Marie-Ann Hedonia and vocalist Mar Vilaseca, adding layers of texture to Pelt’s compositions. The album reworks four older pieces alongside new material, showcasing Pelt’s philosophy of growth over novelty. Critics praise its balance of acoustic intimacy and electronic innovation, calling it a "promising future for jazz" .
