DB Navigator informiert einen zwar, dass eine Reise nicht mehr möglich ist (weil ein Anschluss nicht erreichbar ist)und man kann eine Alternative festlegen aber trotzdem Textet die App einen weiter zur alten Verbindung zu.

KDE Itinerary hingegen gibt keine Infos zu Verspätungen und ausgefallenen Zügen, etc. und wenn man auf "Karte anzeigen" tippt, landet man in Openstreetmap vor Westafrika (Koordinate 0° auf Länge und Breite).

Dachte erst, ich müsste "unsichere Dienste nutzen" und meinen Standort aktivieren, damit beides funktioniert, aber das ist es nicht 🤔

Less than a month to #opentransport2025, train tickets available, everything stored in #kdeitinary. I mean everything, all the train tickets, the conference ticket, the accomodation booking. And train tickets bought well in advanced were not expensive—a plane would cost me about four times more.

And to think that small-me used to think trains never crossed borders.

This is a positive post. For lack of realtime info and unscannable QR codes I’d blame PKP Intercity.

Last time I did tried out #kdeitinary (>1.5 years) importing my travel ticket ticket did not work.

Today it was as easy as:
Send the PDF to the phone with #kdeconnect & then select the most recent file in the #ideitinary import dialogue.

Looking forward to test performance during the trip.

I hope the conductor will accept the code & not kick me out as blind passenger ;-)
