#NWC #Keysend

Some of us have tested Coinos.io before for sending lightning payments but it didn't do keysend but thanks to @ericpp now it does.

StableKraft.app has always supported it but it didnt do keysend until now so it wasnt really worth testing out.

Very similar to the old Alby and they are anonymous so no email signup needed. Make sure to write down the username and password since its not tied to anything so you cant recover it.

#wallets #metadata #keysend

This wallet stuff is starting to get to some people that are bought in but super confused that they are being told that keysend is dead while still using it and it working great for them

Small group I know but it works for us on a daily basis but they have been told for over a year that this is wrong and needs to change yet here we are.

I dont have a point besides the system we built works great and were sticking to it while also helping to improve it.

#Keysend is dead but that #Boostagram was sent from #LNBeats while at work using #Alby backed my #AlbyHub on my node, #Helipad on that node connects to this Nostr bot running on a Ubuntu server via a webhook and then post to nostr and I'm now quoting that post from a Fedi account on that same PC that send the first Boostagram.

What are you lnurl guys doing?

I was able to set one up using #Cashapp to pay the QR code quickly and easily.

Worked perfectly paying with #WebLN and #Alby API in my testing.

I'm hoping the compatible API will make it easy for Alby to connect to the #v4v.app wallet with the browser extension for WebLN keysend payments.

There are some compelling use-cases built on #bitcoin's LightningNetwork to prevent #spam. If our memory serves the #SphinxWallet and others double as a #messaging system with the #KeySend feature, ie. the ability to send payments without an invoice.

A person can send 1 satoshi with a message. This means when two people send #messages to and fro, its effectively free (again, #LN = no fee), but spammers end up paying.

It does require all to run Lightning over Tor/I2P, though.

@Moon
We came across a #LightningNetwork chat application that use 1 SAT per message, #KeySend if memory serves, if the people send messages back and forth they keep paying each other 1 SAT so they pay nothing.

Ie. The fee tends towards zero in a mutual relationship.

We are starting to warm to LightningNetwork, but our internet has been made really bad, so… if we go dark don't think we are ignoring.
