Spoon is my favorite rock band of the latest quarter of a century. And more. As for the track at hand, I am not aware that "All the Pretty Girls Go to the City" is one of Spoon's best known songs. It is not included, for instance, in "Everything Hits at Once: The Best of Spoon." It is, nonetheless, a very good song and recording. Here we get a great glimpse at Deep Spoon.
