Today at #Lab111 I saw, for the first time, Akira Kurosawa's 1963 film High And Low.
Amazing.
So amazing, in fact, that I wanted to share some choice screenshots with all my Pixelfed pals. Enjoy!

パーフェクトブルー | Perfect Blue (1997) Hadn't seen this one since 1997. It's pretty intense and dark in a unique way, so it's not a film I need to revisit regularly. But the 4K restoration at #lab111 was as good a time for this classic #anime. Really interesting to see again with the rest of Kon's oeuvre in mind. Still holds up, in many ways it predicted what was in store for all of us. #cinemastodon #film https://boxd.it/5by7WX
