A tender young shoot ofLady’s Bedstraw (Galium verum, Echtes Labkraut): emerges from the forest floor, its slender green stem lined with delicate, narrow whorled leaves arranged in perfect symmetry. The plant is still in its early growth stage, with no blossoms yet, but its fine, upright form hints at the golden flowers to come.
