More progress! I’ve started adding the vines. After that it will be the leaves and flowers. I’m finding it hard to photograph the entire thing and have it come out well 🤷🏼‍♂️, but it’s looking nice and the build is still fun.

The inner layers of the round pot structure. The inside of the pot is made from circular disks stacked into a cylinder. Around the outside of this are long vertical ribs, and attached to these (running around the centre) are flat squares which the outside of the pot can be stuck to.

The top half of the outside of the pot has been added now. The pieces are a uniform grey and in vertical ridges, a little like the greats of a cog.

I’ve started my next little Lego project: the Orchid set from the Botanical Collection.

So far I’ve made a start on the pot.

The post now has vertical ribs attached to the protruding shafts, so it is starting to look more like a pot. It’s all very colourful right now, but most of this will be covered up. There are some black pieces sticking out of the top at angles ready for the flowers to be attached.

Lego Botanical Collection succulents in plant pots. Three pots with three plants per pot, filled with grit.

Exhausted myself this morning cleaning the house I'm selling. But a nice afternoon putting together the #LegoBotanicalCollection wildflowers! Perfect for the mantle, to balance things out with my prize #TrixieMattel doll on the end. Now the #Lego infinity gauntlet can go back to the middle!

Might need to get a few more to fill the vase better. They're a b*tch to arrange!
