This shot was in B&W from the get-go: on the left is a straight out of camera JPEG version (created in camera, I set RAW and JPEG creation in tandem) of it that served as a proof for viewing, on the right is the end result after making adjustments in #lightrooom and #photoshop (don't remember exactly what I did but it was minimal, including lifting shadow/dark tones a bit).
