Tomorrow! I’m all set for another @reread_used_books author event - bags packed, outfit picked out… now I just need to decide which milkshake I’ll get from @mscstittsville 🤔

Yesterday, I participated in the 2nd annual Cobb County Public Library author fair. Over 20 local authors selling their books in a range of genres.

This was my first experience like this and it was a great learning experience. I hope to get to do more of this soon and know I'll be better prepared.

More than selling my books, the biggest benefit was meeting other writers. Everyone was so encouraging and supportive.

However, I'll also admit that this was outside my comfort zone as an introvert. Standing on my feet and talking to people for 4 hours was draining.

Vancouver Island Regional Libraries will NOT purchase copies of my book because ‘’it is more expensive for VIRL to purchase directly (and then process) these materials in house’’. They use a third party to do so.
I am very grateful to the many other libraries and schools in British Columbia that purchased both my books for their collection, directly from me.
