I’ve noticed that saying “excuse me” when you walk in front of someone seems to have fallen by the wayside. In fact, I was at woolies the other day and when I said excuse me, as I walked between a lady and her selection of potential pasta sauces, I was looked at like I’d done something wrong. I didn't say anything when the person complained because my friend was also there, and I didn't want to put that person on the spot with me. But had I been by myself I totally would have cussed that (non gender-specific) bitch out.
