I finished Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE Plus last night. My thoughts on this game is pretty much the same as my feelings on the Danganronpa series as a whole: I like almost everything about the game except the gameplay.
I don't think having the various minigames tied to solving to mystery really adds anything. It kind of makes it worse as those minigames are just not good and kind of annoying.
It feels like they wanted to differentiate themselves from the Ace Attorney series, but didn't really go about it in the best way.
Still, I enjoyed it overall, so I'd still recommend it. I liked the characters. I liked most of the mysteries. And the music was good too (the BGM used as the equivalent to climax reasoning is the best in the series.).
