Nice view of the North Atlantic from #MeteorM23 this morning, now that the sun is moving north again. Arctic air over Greenland, Iceland and Norway with clear views of Jan Mayen and the Faroe Islands, whilst the UK remains plagued by a mild, wet and cloudy airmass with sub-tropical origins.

#MeteorM23 was temporarily switched to “summer” mode today which has revealed the snow cover over Scotland and the Pennines (shown in blue), and extensive snow cover over NE France and Belgium.
