Today was decorating day in my house.
We brought out my two #christmas rebellions: my econo-lumber tree, and my #MinimalistNativity.

They are my nod to tradition but rebellion against what we've made of this season.

We got around to decorating for #Christmas yesterday.
My personal favourite decoration is my #minimalistNativity.

It walks the line between #reverent and #rebellious and represents well my conflicted feelings about what we've made of this season to be - busy, consumeristic, fake, exhausting...
