Arguing Signs
Take sides! Arguing Signs features two large electronic signs bickering across Toronto's enchanted Music Garden. These four- and-a-half-metre signs, usually used to direct traffic, are cranky, overworked and sick of each other, engaging in a humorous argument instead. Inspired by a joke from the 1991 film LA Story, you're invited to enjoy this playful dispute.

This was at a theatre in the gay village here. Just writing and drawing stuff on the washroom stalls.

I can report that "Closer Together" was a different experience that I expected. The notes say, "With no stage or field, the spectators become the spectacle when two grandstands are positioned face‐ to‐face." What happened was people were parading between the opposing bleachers to cheers, screams and applause. Spectators remained spectators, and everyone else had the chance to sashay.

It's always a fun #NuitBlanche #NBTO24 experience when you run into the mayor checking out the late night art show.

Got to meet Mayor David Miller in the event's infancy, and tonight Mayor Olivia Chow.

And a ton of Leafs fans downtown just added to the merriment with a 3-2 win over Detroit in preseason action

Toronto's a great city.

Toronto people: Any recommendations for Nuit Blanche sites, works or events tonight? The main focus is down by the lake, but then there are events at galleries around town.
