Train+ has lowered the difference between mid and high flex tickets to NL enough that picking high flex makes me not doubt if I am making a good choice.

Very interesting.

Not everything is logical in Belgium, but we have fewer inconsistencies. What is similar to the French case is the fact that history explains certain inconsistencies.

#Brussels 🇧🇪 in March 2002: an #SNCB #NMBS Class 20 electric is seen here with a #EuroCity consist. This used to be the usual setup for loco-hauled trains on the line to #Luxembourg 🇱🇺 for many years: the six-axle Class 20 was able to develop the power necessary on the gradients of the #Ardennes line.
