10-20 years ago, people talked about the “Three R’s” of California #zinfandel: Ridge, Ravenswood and Rosenblum. All three were tremendous, but the latter two were sold to big companies like Diageo. Morgan Twain-Peterson, son of Ravenswood founder Joel Peterson, went on to start #Bedrock wines, and makes great #OldVine, single-#vineyard stuff in the same vein (we have some of his Pagani Ranch in the cellar at LCF). But it makes me happy to learn that Shauna Rosenblum is taking charge at Ridge, Lytton Springs. Very cool.
